MIGRANT PASS
This Pass is issued to persons of African descents from bordering countries or any other person as may be prescribed under the Regulations; who migrated into the United Republic of Tanzania before 1972 and continues to reside without having a passport or identification of any other country. The following are requirements:
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR MIGRANT PASS
- Recommendation Letter from VEO
- Recommendation Letter from WEO
- Covering Letter from RIO
- Documentary Evidence of presence in Tanzania since 1972
- Birth certificates (child/parents) where necessary
- Copy of parent’s migrant pass for a child of holder of migrant pass
